We took this photo shoot at Gather Greenville for Blackwood – Jazz on a Stick.

Blackwood – Jazz on a Stick is a traditional American jazz group from the Upstate, South Carolina area. They play standards from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s from The Great American Songbook, along with southern Louisiana classic Mardi Gras music.

The combination of these styles produces a unique blend that has audiences singing along, tapping their feet and clapping their hands. Members of the band are local professional musicians. Their instrumentation includes clarinet, guitar, keyboard, upright bass and drums, along with vocals on many selections.
